It is said that bad news travels fast. Along our ministry journey, we will experience both triumphs and tragedies. Encounters with victory and adversity will breed strength and endurance in us. Although people may speak evil of us for various reasons, we are not to try to address every rumor and supposition. We must be diligent to make sure that any bad reports about us are untrue.
We will have missteps in movement ministry. Humilty reminds us to confess our faults and repent and reconcile for any wrongdoing. The enemy is the accuser of the brethren. If the Lord has delivered us out of a past that did not glorify Him, then we should not be ashamed. If our lives are anything like that of Abraham, David, and Paul, the Lord can definitely use us for His Kingdom.
Let us also not be guilty of spreading bad reports about our fellow ministers of dance. The Lord is the Judge. Let us continue to check our own motives and stay pure before the Lord. A healthy Body does not fight against itself. How we conduct ourselves can help or hinder the progress of another ministry. Rumors will continue to circulate, but we need only believe the report of the Lord.
Exodus 23:1 (NKJV)
[Justice for All] “You shall not circulate a false report. Do not put your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
Numbers 14:36-37 (NKJV)
Now the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land, who returned and made all the congregation complain against him by bringing a bad report of the land, those very men who brought the evil report about the land, died by the plague before the LORD.
Proverbs 15:30 (NKJV)
The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, and a good report makes the bones healthy.
Philippians 4:8 (NKJV)
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
