Whips and Chains

What the enemy cannot destroy, he will try to keep in bondage. Many dance ministries have suffered attempts of destruction. Jesus endured the whip that was designed to destroy His body. Dance ministries may be destroyed by loss of members, lack of commitment, and lack of finances.

If destruction cannot claim us, bondage will try to keep us from moving forward. Paul was imprisoned for his message. Dance ministries face bondage when there is no support from leadership, family and traditional religious systems.

Maintaining the anointing in our ministries will bring healing to our scars and freedom to our hands and feet. Whips and chains cannot destroy or bind us. When the Lord is for us, nothing that stands against us will flourish.

Acts 26:29 (NKJV)
And Paul said, “I would to God that not only you, but also all who hear me today, might become both almost and altogether such as I am, except for these chains.”

Philippians 1:12-14 (NKJV)
But I want you to know, brethren, that the things which happened to me have actually turned out for the furtherance of the gospel, so that it has become evident to the whole palace guard, and to all the rest, that my chains are in Christ; and most of the brethren in the Lord, having become confident by my chains, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.

Matthew 10:17 (NKJV)
But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils and scourge you in their synagogues.

Luke 18:33
(NKJV)
They will scourge Him and kill Him. And the third day He will rise again.”
